Power Pelvis- A Yoga Tune Up® workshop

The female pelvis is often an under-appreciated part of our anatomy while the pelvic floor muscles are vital tissues that support the uterus, bladder and bowel. Childbirth, pregnancy, poor postural habits and lifestyle choices can easily effect these muscles, leading to myriad of pelvic floor dysfunction. “Peeing” when you cough, sneeze, laugh, run, lift, is NOT NORMAL, while simultaneously, ”pelvic floor exercises” are NOT the universal answer and may be exacerbating your problem. This workshop will break down why strong and supple pelvic floor muscles are essential to your good health & well-being; and how they will continue to support your enjoyment of sex, and maintain healthy urinary and fecal continence, boost your core stability and support good breathing mechanics.
