Pilates is a series of stretching and strengthening exercises designed to improve flexibility and strength.Core strength is the foundation of Pilates exercise. The core muscles are the deep, internal muscles of the abdomen and back. As you develop your core strength you develop stability throughout your entire torso. As the torso is properly stabilized, pressure on the back is relieved and the body is able to move freely and efficiently.

Pilates’ balanced approach ensures that no muscle group is overworked and as a result the body works as an efficient, holistic system, improving stamina, better breathing patterns and muscular endurance. The entire body moves efficiently and it works by building strength from the inside out and rebalancing the body.
